​We aim to create a safe and confidential group space in a small class setting (maximum of 8 students) in which our students can feel supported and guided in their needs while dealing with challenges faced in their everyday lives, such as anxiety, depression, poor body image, bullying, environmental stressors, lack of self-worth, relationships and more.

We work at identifying what it physically feels like to have big emotions – such as fear, anxiety, worry, sadness, anger, over stimulation – and how we can help ourselves in those moments when the emotions are overwhelming. Class is facilitated using guided discussions, breathing techniques, mindfulness activities, positive affirmations and traditional Hatha yoga postures in an engaging, relevant and age-appropriate format. 

We pride ourselves on providing programming that serves as a community resource for mental health and overall emotional health, specific to the needs of children, youth and families. Classes are not simply modified adult yoga classes, nor are they the same as recreational yoga for kids that are designed to focus on the playful components of yoga for children.

Our Peaceful Warrior program is designed to empower children and youth to be happy and healthy in a fun and inclusive environment. We aim to create a safe and confidential group space in which children, youth and families can feel supported and guided in their needs while dealing with challenges faced in their everyday lives.
