Facilitating life skills for emotional & mental well-being to children and youth 3 - 18 years & their schools

Peaceful Warriors Program (3 - 18 years)

Using breathing techniques, mindfulness activities,

positive affirmations and traditional Hatha yoga

postures, class is geared towards assisting children

in the areas of:

  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Self-Worth
  • Healthy Habits
  • Depression
  • Self-Regulation
  • Grief
  • Goal Setting and Focus
  • Body Image

In a small class setting classes work at identifying what it physically feels like to have big emotions – such as fear, anxiety, worry, sadness, anger, over stimulation – and how we can help ourselves in those moments when the emotions are overwhelming. Our aim is to utilize skills we learn on our mat in our every day lives. Ages 9+ take this one step further, working towards developing healthy habits that can assist us even before we come to a point of emotional crisis.

We pride ourselves on providing programming that serves as a community resource for mental health and overall emotional health, specific to the needs of children, youth and families. Classes are not simply modified adult yoga classes, nor are they the same as recreational yoga for kids that are designed to focus on the playful components of yoga for children.

Our Peaceful Warrior program is designed to empower children and youth to be happy and healthy in a fun and inclusive environment. We aim to create a safe and confidential group space in which children, youth and families can feel supported and guided in their needs while dealing with challenges faced in their everyday lives.

The more insight and understanding we have into the condition of a child, the better we are able to develop an effective therapeutic plan for his/her needs.

Third party funding accepted. Approved service provider with Self-Design and the Traditional Home Learning Academy. Financial plans available for families in need.
